Meaning

Break out for new experiences.

After everything we had to do without due to Corona, I lost my inspiration too. Therefore, I dedicate my year 2022 entirely to travel. Where? No idea. I bought an old camper and just drive off. My first trip took me to France and directly to the Coté d'Azure. This short trip quickly awakened all my thoughts from the past. And the desire to learn a new language again.

Aims

No Aims!

I don't know what these trips will bring to me. But I'm open to what I'll find on them. And in the end I'm sure so much will have had an effect on me that there will be new music, because it's my language and my essence is communication.

Current

After the first tour in February to Lyon, Marseilles, Cannes, St. Tropez, Nice, Sanremo and Genoa. Heading back to France in April after my last piano night of the month. This time into the mountains and Alsace first. And then... who knows?

Meaning

Just a bit Psychodelic

Flowerbox is mainly inspired by my garden and by many new and old influences that could work in my head when suddenly there were hardly any events. Everything became smaller and more intimate and suddenly I was back where I feel most comfortable: in Jazz. In my summer house I live like in the 70s. Musically it was an exciting time between virtuoso craftsmanship and the joy of electronic experimentation and I'm not talking about the mainstream here. Jazz was getting on in years, but its achievements left their mark on harmony and sound. Not least because of this, I opted for a sound that is very close to the Wurlitzer instead of using the classic sound of a piano. I am curious where this journey will lead.

Aims

Synth-Sounds

Dealing with synthetic sounds represents a completely new world for me. My personal idea of acoustics has redefined it, because with synth sounds you not only create a sound, but also a space. In this way you not only become the creator of a sound, but also the architect of the space in which the listener perceives it. A whole new world for me.

Flowerbox

PART I

The morning. The air is cool. The dew glistens on the meadow and the light of the sun gently breaks through the high fog. A warm play of light fills nature and slowly life awakens.

PART II

The afternoon. It has gotten hot in the garden and the world in all its movement just passes me by. It doesn't matter what moves people. No matter what the news says. In the garden there is an all-encompassing calm. There is calm in me. I am calm.

PART III

The night. As the life of the day dies down, the lights of the night awaken. All creatures of darkness in their own rhythm and yet connected to each other in a special way. In the distance the city sparkles through the trees. The air gets cooler. The sky clearer and everything seems right the way it is.

Meaning

INIZIO CREARE

Loosely translated means "start creating!"

But it can also be used as a statement:

Understand "I am starting to create".

With this invitation to myself and the statement to the outside world, I would like to focus my focus specifically on my work as a composer and musician in 2020.

In the past I have approached many projects with too great expectations of myself. My subconscious seemed influenced by the thought of having to prove something. That did not allow me to give any special value to my own thoughts. In live concerts I was able to quickly build emotional bridges with the audience, but none of my pieces seemed worth preserving to me. Today I am aware that I do not have to determine the value. In general, I think the evaluation of music is a critical issue. That's why I started trying to make people a little happier with my music.

Album

An important step of the INIZIO CREARE project is a series of releases which are to be combined into an album. New works are taken into account just as much as earlier compositions. Decoupling is planned for the course of the year.

concert

After "Generation-Next" it became quiet around me. The completely sold out event was a complete success. Still, I have to admit that I am not a man on the big stage. I love the background and the quiet. I find both in ambient music. I rarely play my own works in this context or if I expressly request it.

"Mittere"

"Inizio Creare" begins with this piece. It describes the first cautious look into a world that seems to have lost the sense of deep emotion between all media and superficial needs.

"Mittere"

Quietly and in a moment of silence in the world slowly germinates a hidden emotion, a secret wish that for a long time did not dare to be expressed. But gradually old fears are overcome and the pursuit of the liberated thoughts leads to something fragile and beautiful and long-awaited.

"Se Mittere"

Se Mittere means to rush or attack on or into something.

After letting go (middle) the first offensive step follows. Take action and let your enthusiasm guide you.

"Emittere"

I dare to leap into the unknown, take my ideas and thoughts and expand my implementation options.

Emittere is the last piece of the "middle" series for the time being. It stands for radiance ...
